Layoffs across my industry, where did you pivot? - any advice?

Our sector has been shrinking and I am unsure if I should wait it out. It has been a long 25 weeks. I am open to a pay cut if the field is stable. Who has switched fields?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.

I moved into operations work. The skills carried over and there were more openings than in my old field.
