Layoffs across my industry, where did you pivot? after 8 years as a janitorial supervisor

Three companies in Cincinnati cut staff in the same month. There are 8 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. I have transferable skills but no direct experience elsewhere.

I moved into operations work. The skills carried over and there were more openings than in my old field.
