Layoffs across my industry, where did you pivot? after 4 years as a recruiter

Three companies in Tulsa cut staff in the same month. Any experience at all would help. I have transferable skills but no direct experience elsewhere. Who has switched fields?

Look at job postings to see which skills repeat, then fill the gap. That gave me a direction.
