Layoffs across my industry, where did you pivot? after 17 years as a pharmacy technician

Many of the people I know in my field were laid off this year, including me as a pharmacy technician. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. The postings I see are fewer and ask for more. How did you choose?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

I moved into operations work. The skills carried over and there were more openings than in my old field.
