Layoffs across my industry, where did you pivot? after 14 years as an IT help-desk technician

Many of the people I know in my field were laid off this year, including me as an IT help-desk technician. This is my first time dealing with any of this. I am open to a pay cut if the field is stable. Which areas are hiring?
