Layoffs across my industry, where did you pivot? after 14 years as a home health aide

Three companies in San Diego cut staff in the same month. Any experience at all would help. I am open to a pay cut if the field is stable. How did you choose?

I moved into operations work. The skills carried over and there were more openings than in my old field.
