Layoffs across my industry, where did you pivot? after 12 years as a sales associate

Three companies in Tulsa cut staff in the same month. Any experience at all would help. I am open to a pay cut if the field is stable. Who has switched fields?

I moved into operations work. The skills carried over and there were more openings than in my old field.
