Layoffs across my industry, where did you pivot?

Many of the people I know in my field were laid off this year, including me as a data-entry clerk. I worked as a data-entry clerk before this. I have transferable skills but no direct experience elsewhere. How did you choose?

A short certificate helped me more than a new degree would have. Check what local colleges offer.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
