Layoffs across my industry, where did you pivot?

Our sector has been shrinking and I am unsure if I should wait it out. It has been a long 19 weeks. I have transferable skills but no direct experience elsewhere. Who has switched fields?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
