Layoffs across my industry, where did you pivot? - 3 months and counting

Many of the people I know in my field were laid off this year, including me as a dental hygienist. I have been trying to stay organised about it. The postings I see are fewer and ask for more. Which areas are hiring?

I moved into operations work. The skills carried over and there were more openings than in my old field.
