Layoffs across my industry, where did you pivot? - 22 weeks in

Many of the people I know in my field were laid off this year, including me as a barista. I worked as a barista before this. I have transferable skills but no direct experience elsewhere. Which areas are hiring?

I moved into operations work. The skills carried over and there were more openings than in my old field.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
