Layoffs across my industry, where did you pivot? - 21 weeks in

Many of the people I know in my field were laid off this year, including me as an electrician's helper. Any experience at all would help. I have transferable skills but no direct experience elsewhere. Who has switched fields?

Look at job postings to see which skills repeat, then fill the gap. That gave me a direction.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
