Layoffs across my industry, where did you pivot? - 19 weeks in

Three companies in Wichita cut staff in the same month. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. I have transferable skills but no direct experience elsewhere. How did you choose?

I moved into operations work. The skills carried over and there were more openings than in my old field.
