Layoffs across my industry, where did you pivot? - 15 weeks in

Three companies in San Diego cut staff in the same month. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. I am open to a pay cut if the field is stable. Who has switched fields?

I moved into operations work. The skills carried over and there were more openings than in my old field.
