Layoffs across my industry, where did you pivot? - 14 months and counting

Many of the people I know in my field were laid off this year, including me as a production planner. There are 12 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. The postings I see are fewer and ask for more. Who has switched fields?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
