Layoff notice, what does the 60 days mean? - what worked for you?

Our team was told about a closure date that is 17 weeks away. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. Some colleagues are already leaving.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
