Layoff notice, what does the 60 days mean? (Chicago)

Quinn Hovland · 2026-06-20T19:54:57.387Z

I received a formal notice about a mass layoff at my workplace. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. I do not know if I should start looking now or wait for severance news.

Start your search early. I wish I had begun the day of the notice.
