Layoff happened 9 days ago, feeling lost

I was let go as a data-entry clerk this week and I am still in shock. I have a few weeks of savings and a rent payment due. What did you do in the first week?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
