Layoff happened 8 days ago, feeling lost - what worked for you?

I was let go as a call-centre agent this week and I am still in shock. I have a box of my things and a short letter about benefits. Is there a checklist I should follow?

Ask for your final pay, unused leave and any documents in writing before you leave, if you still can.

Give yourself the first couple of days to be upset. I did, and then I felt able to plan.
