Layoff happened 8 days ago, feeling lost after 8 years as an office manager

They called a meeting on Wednesday and 8 of us were let go. I had been there 8 years. I worked as an office manager before this. I have a box of my things and a short letter about benefits. Is there a checklist I should follow?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
