Layoff happened 7 days ago, feeling lost (update)

They called a meeting on Friday and 7 of us were let go. I had been there 7 years. I do not usually post, so bear with me. I have a few weeks of savings and a rent payment due. What did you do in the first week?

Give yourself the first couple of days to be upset. I did, and then I felt able to plan.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
