Layoff happened 7 days ago, feeling lost - first time posting

I lost my job as a dental hygienist and I am not sure what to do first. I am in Denver, in case local advice matters. I have a few weeks of savings and a rent payment due.

Give yourself the first couple of days to be upset. I did, and then I felt able to plan.
