Layoff happened 7 days ago, feeling lost - any advice?

They called a meeting on Friday and 7 of us were let go. I had been there 7 years. Any experience at all would help. I have not told my family yet. Is there a checklist I should follow?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
