Layoff happened 5 days ago, feeling lost - what worked for you?

They called a meeting on Wednesday and 5 of us were let go. I had been there 5 years. I have been trying to stay organised about it. I have not told my family yet. Is there a checklist I should follow?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
