Layoff happened 5 days ago, feeling lost (update)

They called a meeting on Monday and 5 of us were let go. I had been there 5 years. I have a few weeks of savings and a rent payment due. Is there a checklist I should follow?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

Give yourself the first couple of days to be upset. I did, and then I felt able to plan.
