Layoff happened 5 days ago, feeling lost (update)

I lost my job as a barista and I am not sure what to do first. I have been trying to stay organised about it. I have not told my family yet.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 5 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
