Layoff happened 5 days ago, feeling lost (update)

They called a meeting on Thursday and 5 of us were let go. I had been there 5 years. Thank you in advance. I have a box of my things and a short letter about benefits. What did you do in the first week?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
