Layoff happened 5 days ago, feeling lost

They called a meeting on Friday and 5 of us were let go. I had been there 5 years. It has been a long 24 weeks. I have a box of my things and a short letter about benefits. Which steps were urgent?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 8 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
