Layoff happened 18 days ago, feeling lost (Seattle)

I was let go as a store manager this week and I am still in shock. Any experience at all would help. I have a box of my things and a short letter about benefits.

Give yourself the first couple of days to be upset. I did, and then I felt able to plan.

Ask for your final pay, unused leave and any documents in writing before you leave, if you still can.
