Layoff happened 17 days ago, feeling lost - 5 months and counting

They called a meeting on Friday and 17 of us were let go. I had been there 17 years. I have been trying to stay organised about it. I have a few weeks of savings and a rent payment due. Is there a checklist I should follow?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
