Layoff happened 16 days ago, feeling lost - what worked for you?

They called a meeting on Wednesday and 16 of us were let go. I had been there 16 years. I worked as a forklift operator before this. I have not told my family yet. Which steps were urgent?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 2 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
