Layoff happened 16 days ago, feeling lost - any advice?

I lost my job as a nurse's aide and I am not sure what to do first. It has been a long 15 weeks. I have a box of my things and a short letter about benefits. What did you do in the first week?

Give yourself the first couple of days to be upset. I did, and then I felt able to plan.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
