Layoff happened 16 days ago, feeling lost - any advice?

I lost my job as a line cook and I am not sure what to do first. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. I have a few weeks of savings and a rent payment due.

Give yourself the first couple of days to be upset. I did, and then I felt able to plan.
