Layoff happened 15 days ago, feeling lost after 15 years as a paralegal

I lost my job as a paralegal and I am not sure what to do first. This is my first time dealing with any of this. I have a box of my things and a short letter about benefits. What did you do in the first week?

Give yourself the first couple of days to be upset. I did, and then I felt able to plan.
