Layoff happened 14 days ago, feeling lost, forklift operator here

I was let go as a forklift operator this week and I am still in shock. I worked as a forklift operator before this. I have a few weeks of savings and a rent payment due.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 6 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

Give yourself the first couple of days to be upset. I did, and then I felt able to plan.
