I was let go as a quality inspector this week and I am still in shock. I worked as a quality inspector before this. I have a few weeks of savings and a rent payment due. Is there a checklist I should follow?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.

File for unemployment right away. Do not wait for severance decisions. The date you file can matter.
