Layoff happened 13 days ago, feeling lost - what worked for you?

I was let go as a social media manager this week and I am still in shock. Any experience at all would help. I have a box of my things and a short letter about benefits. What did you do in the first week?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
