Layoff happened 13 days ago, feeling lost - 24 weeks in

I was let go as a forklift operator this week and I am still in shock. Any experience at all would help. I have a box of my things and a short letter about benefits. Is there a checklist I should follow?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

Give yourself the first couple of days to be upset. I did, and then I felt able to plan.
