Layoff happened 12 days ago, feeling lost - any advice?

They called a meeting on Monday and 12 of us were let go. I had been there 12 years. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. I have a few weeks of savings and a rent payment due. Which steps were urgent?

Give yourself the first couple of days to be upset. I did, and then I felt able to plan.
