Layoff happened 12 days ago, feeling lost - any advice?

They called a meeting on Thursday and 12 of us were let go. I had been there 12 years. This is my first time dealing with any of this. I have a few weeks of savings and a rent payment due. Is there a checklist I should follow?

Ask for your final pay, unused leave and any documents in writing before you leave, if you still can.
