Layoff happened 11 days ago, feeling lost - what worked for you?

They called a meeting on Wednesday and 11 of us were let go. I had been there 11 years. I do not usually post, so bear with me. I have a box of my things and a short letter about benefits. What did you do in the first week?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
