Layoff happened 11 days ago, feeling lost (update)

I lost my job as a medical assistant and I am not sure what to do first. It has been a long 8 weeks. I have a box of my things and a short letter about benefits. What did you do in the first week?

Ask for your final pay, unused leave and any documents in writing before you leave, if you still can.

Give yourself the first couple of days to be upset. I did, and then I felt able to plan.
