Layoff happened 11 days ago, feeling lost - first time posting

I lost my job as an administrative assistant and I am not sure what to do first. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. I have not told my family yet. Is there a checklist I should follow?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
