Layoff happened 11 days ago, feeling lost after 11 years as an administrative assistant

They called a meeting on Friday and 11 of us were let go. I had been there 11 years. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. I have a few weeks of savings and a rent payment due. Is there a checklist I should follow?

File for unemployment right away. Do not wait for severance decisions. The date you file can matter.
