Layoff happened 10 days ago, feeling lost - what worked for you?

I was let go as a security officer this week and I am still in shock. I do not usually post, so bear with me. I have not told my family yet. Is there a checklist I should follow?

Give yourself the first couple of days to be upset. I did, and then I felt able to plan.
