Layoff happened 10 days ago, feeling lost (update)

They called a meeting on Tuesday and 10 of us were let go. I had been there 10 years. I am in Buffalo, in case local advice matters. I have not told my family yet. What did you do in the first week?

Give yourself the first couple of days to be upset. I did, and then I felt able to plan.
