Layoff happened 10 days ago, feeling lost after 10 years as a line cook

They called a meeting on Monday and 10 of us were let go. I had been there 10 years. I worked as a line cook before this. I have a few weeks of savings and a rent payment due. Is there a checklist I should follow?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
