Layoff happened 10 days ago, feeling lost

They called a meeting on Wednesday and 10 of us were let go. I had been there 10 years. I have not told my family yet. What did you do in the first week?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
