Last week of benefits, options? - what worked for you?

My unemployment benefits end in 25 weeks and I have not found work as a payroll clerk. It has been a long 25 weeks. I am willing to take a temporary job. What did you do after benefits ran out?

I took a temp job while I kept looking. It covered rent, and the agency sent me to a permanent job within a couple of months.
