Last week of benefits, options? - what worked for you?

My unemployment benefits end in 6 weeks and I have not found work as an event coordinator. I have been trying to stay organised about it. I wonder about extended programmes or help from local agencies. Where did you get help with bills?

I took a temp job while I kept looking. It covered rent, and the agency sent me to a permanent job within a couple of months.

Food pantries and community kitchens helped us stretch the budget. No shame in using them.
